A Day Late and from a New App!

So I’ve Left Mailchimp and Migrated to Substack

Because yesterday Mailchimp, completely wrongly, decided I’d used up all my mailout slots the day before! And one needs to be signed up for the paid option to access any help process that’s not an FAQ, so…. anyhow, I got so annoyed with them I headed for the increasingly popular if, yeah, somewhat ethically compromised, other option!

I’m not desperately happy about this. (I once tweeted that I’d never do this.) But it is what it is if I want to keep sending you lot emails. You’re getting this because you subscribed to the Mailchimp version.

But if you stay put I can promise you a bit of an interesting new look on Friday, though of course all the usual content will be present and correct. And there will be stories about Thomas and his new bike. My website and blog are also getting a much-needed overhaul and new look this coming week (seriously, it was falling apart), ready for the launch of The Witches of World War 2.

I might add some sort of monetised extra somewhere down the road, maybe the writing advice posts I’ve mentioned in the past, but the usual Friday Newsletter will always remain free.
